Trilogy “the search for involvement”
Trilogy “the search for involvement”
from September 2010 till June 2011 I’ve worked together with Gwendolyn Noltes in a search for a way to give the audience a more active and involved roll in our performances. Starting point of our search were different game structures. This search resulted in three performances. In November we performed “de Uitverkorenen” based on a selection process, telling the story of the end of the world in 2012. in March we performed “de Queeste”. In this performance the audience was challenged to make contact with strangers. “de Queeste” is also performed at Cultural Sundays in Utrecht and Festival Hongerige Wolf. The last performance “Heilige Grond” was performed in June and was about the walls we build up around our private spaces. In every performance the audience was the protagonist of the play. You can find a report of our conclusions and the do’s and don’ts in interactive theater in this photo-book
